What Is an Educational Assessment?  An educational assessment is a comprehensive evaluation that includes:
​1. Cognitive (IQ) Testing

• Measures thinking and reasoning abilities (e.g., verbal reasoning, nonverbal reasoning, working memory, and processing speed)
• Identifies learning strengths and cognitive processing styles
• Commonly used tools: WISC-V, WPPSI-IV, WAIS-IV, or similar.

2. Academic Achievement Testing

• Assesses key academic skills: reading, writing, maths, and oral language
• Determines if academic performance aligns with cognitive potential
• Identifies possible learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia)
• Commonly used tools: WIAT-3 or similar

What to Expect: Assessments are customised to your child's age and are designed to be fun, interactive, and stress-free.  Many of the activities are presented in a game-like format, with puzzles, blocks, pictures, and memory games that feel more like play than work.  Sessions are designed to match each child’s energy and attention level.
